About me

Hello! I'm Sıla from Istanbul, Turkey.

I would like to help you to learn Turkish and make your Turkish better. My method is more conversational. If you want to learn grammar in a natural way without drowning yourself in grammar rules you are in the right place. I adopt a student-centered education and an action-oriented approach. That’s why you will start to speak from the first lesson even if you don’t know any Turkish at all.

My major is Russian language and literature. I have experience as a Turkish tutor for foreigners both in Turkey (online) and abroad. In the beginning of 2020 I went to Poland and started to teach Turkish to foreigners. I stayed there almost one year. Since I returned to Turkey I've been teaching Turkish online. Besides, I got a special certificate from Marmara University (one of the oldest educational institutions in Istanbul) to specialize in ‘Teaching Turkish as a foreign language’.

Sıla is a very good teacher. I have been learning with her for several weeks now and I am very satisfied. What I particularly like: - The lessons are very varied. - Sıla places a lot of emphasis on speaking and always motivates me to do so. She is very patient and gives me the time to find the words and sentences, and supports me in sentence formation. Sila Nur is a very beautiful teacher. Time flies in her classes. I only had 6 hours of lessons, but I can already see progress. The lessons are never boring.
