Hey there! My name is Gianfranco and I'm your new native Italian-speaking professor. I have many years of teaching experience and I use an innovative method, effective and fun. It is affordable and effective for all ages! I can't wait to teach you Italian and make you a perfect Italian speaker through a new and innovative method. I am an Italian professor of languages. I have got a Bachelor's in Information Science and a Master's Degree in Digital Communication, as well as specialised cerificates for teaching languages.

Thanks to my specialised studies in the field of technical language, I obtained a huge knowledge of the technical language and vocabulary. I taught languages both in private and public schools as well as online.

I taught in my country and also abroad where I spent a long time studying foreigner languages and obtaining language certificates. During my teaching experience, I taught to students at different level and age. My last experience was in Mexico where I spent a long time teaching languages (Italian, my mother tongue) in a linguistic academic.

My teaching methodology mainly depends on the students' needs. Firstly, I examine the level and the age of my potential student and then I prepare the specific programm which, in most cases, it is a personalised programm. In particular, during my lessons I tend to include some activities as well as schemes in order to improve the comprehension of the language notions.

Why book a lesson with me? First of all because I was also a student and still study. I have studied many languages and I have studied both abroad, with live teachers in my city and online.

I strongly believe that teaching should not be heavy and that the first thing is to put the student at ease. Go at his or her pace and understand his or her timing, go back over the gaps and strengthen the weak parts. My teaching motto is: "Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I learn".

The lessons have been wonderful. He has much patience for beginners. I have taken 10 lessons so far and I understand basic Italian conversation now. I started from scratch here and I have the Italian I learnt here to survive a summer Italian exchange programme in medicine in Bologna. He has accommodated to my need and wishes from lesson 1. My school requires me to have at least B1 level for the exchange programme. He specifically designed the lessons for the exchange, e.g. reading B1 articles, learning basic conversation in hospital settings. We use different ways of learning, e.g. composition, grammar, comprehension, speaking etc. I always get useful feedback from the teacher. He has got plenty of teaching material in his arsenal.

Gianfranco is a great tutor. I have only had a few lessons with him but I am already learning so much. He effectively combines different aspects of language learning, such as conversation, grammar, vocab, etc. to keep the session interesting and engaging. He is also good at gauging your level and what activities would be beneficial for your language development. Gianfranco is funny and kind which makes you feel comfortable to have a go and learn from your mistakes - which is vital for learning a language :-) Grazie mille, Gianfranco!

He has many books to teach with for all levels and always knows what you should be learning next to make it a smooth experience. It can seem a bit fast at first but he gives a lot of time to review afterwards, and before you know it you're able to converse in Italian. He always encourages you to ask questions and is very supportive. I always ask for short stories to practice my reading and learning vocabulary, he has always had something for me to read at all levels of my learning.

Gianfranco is an excellent teacher! I started off not knowing any Italian and after a month, I can honestly say that my understanding has vastly improved! His teaching style is very much suited to my style of learning; he takes a more naturalistic approach. Learning is done through conversation and dialogue, followed up by homework exercises. I find this method to be very effective! If you're still unsure, book a lesson with him. You won't be disappointed!

È un buon insegnante. Grazie per il tuo aiuto. Gianfranco is a great teacher. I have improved my Italian and understanding of grammar over the last few months. He provides exercises to learn and preps homework to help further your knowledge of the language. Since taking lessons, I am able to read and understand basic paragraphs and construct my own sentences. I would recommend Gianfranco, if anyone wants to learn Italian. Grazie mille
