Yui's classes are the most enjoyable way to learn! Thanks to her bright personality and humor, I have fun learning Thai every time. I started from zero, and I’m genuinely impressed by how much progress I’ve made with every lesson. Yui is not only incredibly patient and kind, but she also makes learning Thai both fun and effective. Every session is well-structured, engaging, and filled with useful insights—not just about the language, but also about Thai culture. Her excellent English skills make it easy to understand the meanings and nuances of words, which really helps in grasping the language more naturally. Thanks to her teaching style and attention to detail, I now receive constant compliments from Thai people on how clearly and naturally I speak! On top of that, her positive energy and constant smile make each lesson something to look forward to. My thai language learning journey began with Kru Yui 20 lessons ago and it has been absolutely amazing. She is passionate about what she does and the way she teaches, knowledgable (of course), patient and understanding which I think are particularly important traits to have for folks like me, who are beginners and has a day job. Her teaching style is extremely relatebale, especially if you have travelled etensively in Thailand as I have. I find her style of taking everyday situtions in Thailand to turn them info full blown highly interactive and deeply informative lessons very egaging and interesting. She is super talented and makes her own lessons/text books. It really fantastic learning Thai under her tutelage and I am looking forward to many more classes with her as I continue on my Thai language learning. Kru Yui, Kob Khun khap.

TL;DR: Good teaching, lots of provided resources, structured and unstructured learning as well as great value for money compared to other teachers. I've been trying to learn Thai on and off for about 2 years and was dead set on not paying for lessons as I am a farang k*n*k (disclaimer: Yui did not teach me this word). Friends convinced me to try Preply and it was a great decision. Yui has a good handmade, structured curriculum with audio clips, notes and games that you can use at home but also provides flexibility for going 'off track' with practice conversations. Less focus on grammar and more focus on conversation. My Thai girlfriend is now saying I sound a lot more Thai! Only thing that could make it better is if Yui had her own Anki flash card decks. ขอบYuiนะดรับ

Although the learning journey is still in its early stages, Yui demonstrates a bright and engaging personality, taking a keen interest in your participation and progress. She is very organised with her own material that is well structured and thought out. She knows a lot about the Thai culture which she shares insights on as well as highlighting the spectrum of formal and informal ways of communicating which is very useful in day to day life. I have prior knowledge of the Thai language but am rusty having taken lots of time off in practicing and losing my knowledge. Yui is able to identify gaps in knowledge and adapt her lessons to suit your needs, so although we are following a set structure, she doesn’t rigidly stick to the curriculum which is where teachers can inadvertently suffer on quality of lesson delivery. A solid teacher, very fun and great sense of humour. Would highly recommend!
