Hello, I'm Kristiina, and I'm from Finland! As a lover of languages and different cultures, I'm here to help people from various backgrounds improve their Finnish.

My goal is to create an environment where people are not afraid to make mistakes and have fun.

I'm particularly fond of teaching beginners, but I also like having conversation classes with B1-B2 level students.

Having studied multiple languages over the years with different teachers, I have plenty of first-hand experience of learning a language and different learning methods.

I have worked as a Finnish as a foreign language teacher for a year. I have 3 years of informal teaching experience through my hobbies.

We will practice Finnish in a relaxed environment.

Based on your wishes and skill level, we will look at Finnish texts and any relevant grammatical features, go through them together, and then practice them orally. I will support you by leading the conversation. We can also do role-play practice on real-life situations.

We can conduct the class entirely in Finnish, or in English and Finnish, depending on your skill level.

I am NOT a good fit for YKI preppers or people seeking to learn specialised vocabulary.
