About me
Hi everyone, I'm Omar. I'm a senior medical student in Europe and a native Arabic speaker from Jordan and Palestine.
I specialize in the Levantine dialect, but I also have experience teaching other Middle Eastern dialects. I learned these dialects because of my passion for Arab culture.
I mainly teach online to beginners from all over the world. They are interested in moving to the Middle East for business or travel, or they simply have a personal interest in the Arab world. I also regularly teach intermediate and advanced classes, which are usually for exam purposes or natural conversations.
My passion for teaching stems from my love of education as a medical student and my appreciation for the beauty of language. I gained this appreciation from my time spent traveling and experiencing new cultures. I find teaching Arabic to non-native speakers to be the perfect and most rewarding job for me. I enjoy helping others achieve their language goals, broadening their horizons, and enabling cross-cultural communication.
When I'm not busy teaching or studying, I love to read books and scientific journals. I'm currently obsessed with anything related to psychology. I also enjoy watching mind-numbing YouTube videos. To relax from my hectic schedule, I started meditating, which is now an essential part of my life. Whenever time allows, I find joy in traveling, trying new cuisines, learning about different cultures, and finding commonalities between them.

My specialties
Teaching Arabic to beginners is one of my favorite things to do. I love seeing their excitement as they learn about the language and culture. I start by introducing them to the Arabic alphabet and pronunciation. Then, we move on to basic grammar and vocabulary. I use a variety of teaching methods, including games, activities, and real-world examples. I also encourage my students to practice speaking and listening as much as possible.
Teaching conversational Arabic is my passion. I love helping my students develop their speaking and listening skills so that they can confidently communicate in real-world situations. I start by teaching my students basic conversational phrases and expressions. Then, we move on to more complex topics, such as discussing current events, sharing stories, and expressing opinions. I use variety of teaching methods, including role-playing exercises, simulations, and conversation starters. I also encourage my students to practice speaking and listening as much as possible outside of class by watching Arabic movies and TV shows, listening to Arabic music, and talking to their Arabic-speaking friends and family.
Teaching Arabic to children is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had as a tutor. Children are naturally curious and eager to learn, so they are often very motivated to learn a new language. I start by introducing them to the Arabic alphabet and pronunciation in a fun and engaging way. Then, we move on to basic grammar and vocabulary, using games, activities, and real-world examples to keep them interested. I also encourage them to practice speaking and listening as much as possible, and I make sure to provide them with plenty of opportunities to do so.
