About me

Szia!

I am a native Hungarian speaker with a passion for languages. I grew up in Hungary, but in the past years I have lived in England, Italy and Sweden, working and exploring. My goal is to bring some fun into lessons and learn while doing!

I have experience in teaching all-levels and all routes! I offer both traditional and conversation focused classes, so we can improve exactly what you want to work on! I approach each class with a multidisciplinary mindset: we build vocabulary, learn grammar while developing listening and speaking skills.

Sári is incredibly patient and supportive! In our very first session, she really listened to the areas I wanted to focus on and she tailored our lessons to match. We split our time between conversation and pronunciation/grammar, which works wonderfully for me. She’s thorough, explains things clearly, and always provides helpful examples that actually make sense. She also shared a fantastic resource for extra practice between lessons. I truly feel like I’m making progress with her. She’s the best!

I'm really happy with Sári as my teacher, she is awesome and makes learning Hungarian so much fun - even though the language is not so easy - I feel like I make a progress and we can really work on my points. I feel like Sári is meeting the sweet spot of pushing me to try and talk - but never 'overpushing' me, I'm super happy to keep learning with her and I can only recommend!

It is my second lesson with Sari. She is very patient, she makes me feel comfortable even when making mistakes. She makes the lessons interesting and is very attentive to my needs and my questions.

Sari is a great teacher! She explains everything clearly, and brings interesting materials to class so I can learn a bit about Hungarian culture too. She always encourages me to speak, even though I'm a beginner which is very helpful because that is my goal. She is very supportive and understanding and always cheers me on when I say the right word. My Hungarian is improving with every lesson and I will definitely continue learning with Sari!
