Hello! I'm Kei from Japan, and I love soccer, music, games, travel, and languages! Recently, I've been studying French! I'm currently a university student and I'm 18 years old! My zodiac sign is Scorpio, and I was born on October 25th! I'd love to visit countries like the UK and Canada! I'm also really interested in cultures, so please share yours with me! While I don't have formal teaching experience, I've been helping my little sister and kids in the neighborhood with their studies. This means I can explain even the tough stuff in a way that's easy to understand! If you're someone who struggles with memorizing grammar, I can teach you methods to learn through rhythm! i took japanese lessons with kei for about 7 months. in that time, i learned many vocabulary words, how to make sentences, aspects of japanese culture, and overall support in my japanese learning journey. kei is very patient and adaptable in regards to learning style. if you let him know your goals for learning japanese, he will do his best to form lessons to fit your needs and interests. for me, i wanted to focus on speaking, so we often had conversations in japanese. he also gave me excellent resources to practice verbs and vocabulary. he also studies english and other languages, so you do not have to be afraid about communication. you will not regret taking lessons with him! he is amazing and i recommend him to any japanese learner, whether you're advanced or a beginner. thank you kei for being the best japanese tutor!

A very very nice experience that really well suits what I am currently doing in Japanese, and is a very powerful motivator. This guy is better for motivation than Duolingo, so next time you are gonna pay for a Duolingo Max subscription, think about whether you want to maintain your Japanese by racing through a Duolingo lesson at 11:30pm, or really supercharge it by having an actual mentor.

I have been taking lessons from Kei for a month now. Kei makes me feel very comfortable and encourages natural, everyday conversation how Japanese people speak daily. He also responds to all my messages I ask outside of class time. It's very helpful for my studies. Highly recommend Kei!

The instructor is willing to start from scratch and patiently guides beginners in an encouraging manner, helping students gradually master simple vocabulary and sentences. You can apply what you learn from the Kei course in practical situations!

Kei is always prepared for the lesson and great at making the lessons fit your needs. He speaks great English, which makes the lessons a lot easier if there is anything that needs more explaining. 100/10 would absolutely recommend!!
