About me

Hello, I'm Jasmine, I'm half Thai and half New Zealander. I have lived in Thailand almost 18 years and I'm a native Thai speaker and I'm a big fan of traveling! As a new tutor I love connecting with students from around the world and focusing on everyday language that you'll hear in daily conversations!

I may not have formal teaching experience, but as a Thai native speaker, I know Thai at an advanced level🙌

I can help you understand Thai deeply to help you communicate with locals and traveling in Thailand more easily. Thai people are always supportive when foreigners speak Thai well! You won't be learning formal Thai that might be misunderstandings or sound unnatural in real situations.

Jasmine is a very nice tutor; she is very supportive and involved. I must mention that she is very quick in handling difficult words and expressions. For example, we studied Buddhist Canonical Texts in Thai, which can be a difficult task even for monks. This type of Thai is very different from colloquial and everyday Thai. Jasmine handled it exceptionally well. If she can fulfill such exclusive requests in Thai, I guess she would be even better at teaching everyday or business-related Thai.

Jasmine speaks English and Thai excellent, and there is no confusion in learning individual words and putting sentences together, Jasmine makes her classes suit your learning of the Thai language to meet everyday conversation while traveling or living in Thailand. Jasmine is a very friendly and patient teacher. She has prepared lessons available but lets the student chose whatever topic/area he wants to learn about. Vocabulary, speaking, grammar etc. Her perfect english makes it easy to also understand everything when the student asks more detailed questions. All in all very good!
