About me
I am Spanish, graduated in the Spanish Philology (Spanish language and Literature) and specialized in Spanish for foreigners at the Complutense University of Madrid. I have been teaching Spanish since 2005. I live in Spain, although, from 2010 to 2019, I lived in Mexico. Therefore, I can teach Spanish from Spain or from Latin America with total ease. I have elaborated different didactic materials for my classes, I like to adapt the classes to the needs of the student and have taught different subjects regarding Spanish, such as business Spanish, medical Spanish and political Spanish. Also, I know many tools to work with on the internet, depending on the needs of the student. I like to review and practice what students have learned, so I divide the classes between the revision part with what was learned in the previous classes, another part of grammar and another of conversation. In addition, I usually leave homework, so the student has time to practice on his/her own and retain what was learned in class. I am always trying to make every class fun and most accessible to the student. I am an excellent option as a Spanish teacher.

I can confidently say that Cristina is one of the best language teachers I’ve ever had. Most of the communication is in Spanish, explanations are clear, and the learning process is well-structured around grammar, vocabulary, and practice, with thoughtful homework tasks included. There’s absolutely no blame or pressure (even if you forget something or haven’t done the homework), which makes the learning environment super comfortable. Even with my mix of lots of enthusiasm but very little time, she still manages to bring out the best in me. Thank you, Cristina, for being the right person in the right place at the right time for me 😊

I loved learning Spanish with Cristina! We spent a lot of time talking in Spanish, which really helped me practise, and we always wrapped up each class with exercises to reinforce the basics. What I enjoyed the most was learning through short films and news articles - exactly what I was looking for, but this is up to you. Cristina is really supportive and adapts her teaching to your needs. I definitely recommend her!Carmen

I am really enjoying learning Spanish with Cristina, ever since I started these classes my confidence has improved a lot. Cristina is a great teacher and was able to adapt the classes to suit my level and fill in huge gaps in my very patchy previous knowledge of grammar. Plus the lessons are always interesting and the structure sparks very good conversations with useful vocabulary. Highly recommended!

Cristina is great, she has a fabulous way of teaching and her lessons are always interactive and fun. I've been learning with Cristina for almost one year now and my Spanish has improved significantly! Gracias por todo Cristina!!!

Mainly, my students have been beginners and I have a lot of experience on this subject
I have been living in Mexico since 2010. So she can teach Spanish from Latin America perfectly
I have some DELE books and materials. I can teach perfectly even though I have no previous experience, but I have a lot of experience in higher levels
I am Spanish so I know perfectly the culture and language
On several occasions I had to teach business Spanish and I was handling several materials about it
I can prepare the classes on any subject
I studied Spanish and Latin American literature for 5 years at the Complutense University of Madrid. I love literature!
