About me

Hi. I'm Mike. I have been teaching English for over 5 years helping students from all over the world. I enjoy helping people with their English problems and am often told that I'm not like other teachers. My students laugh a lot but learn at the same time.

I am a professional qualified language tutor (this is not something I do part-time to earn a little extra money). I work with several leading international companies and tutor many individual students both in person and online.

My background is in international business and I speak several foreign languages. Therefore I can understand the difficulties faced by learners and the frustrations and embarassments that sometimes arise. For this reason a large percentage of my students are those who wish to improve not only their general use of the English language but also their skills in a business context.

If you cannot find a suitable time on my availability please contact me and let me know your requirements. Some of my students are flexible as regards the exact time of their lesson from week to week. So sometimes I can rearrange my schedule to accommodate those who do not have so much flexibility.

I would highly recommend you studying English with Mike. He is a very professional teacher and the lessons were very efficient and interesting, also he has a great knowledge about business in general. I recommend it because he really cares about your learning process.

I was looking for a teacher for my son (10 years old) who would go over the basics with him and speak English. Mike has a very good way of handling children! He teaches in an entertaining yet educational manner. My son looks forward to the lesson with Mike every time!

Mike is the best teacher I have ever had. He has the right mix between encouragement and correction. He makes you feel free to speach and to experiment, but he is ready to correct you in a kindly way. His english is very understandable for a non english listener, but I think he can adapt his speech to the level of the student. Least but not last, he has a essential experience in the business enviroment, so if you need to learn english for your job, he is the best teacher

Since I have started taking lessons with Mike, my English skills have improved substantially. After taking some lessons with him, I gained more confidence to speak English. He is very professional, has a great knowledge about business in general, and helps you to feel more confident and comfortable when discussing any topic. Also, he helped me with to be more confident when having job interviews. I highly recommend taking lessons with him.
