¡Hola, hola!

My name is Mariale. I'm from Venezuela (I currently live in Medellin, Colombia) so my native language is Spanish, but I can speak English and Portuguese too.

I discovered my passion in teaching a few years ago and I haven't stoped since then. I've been teaching (online) children, teenagers and adults for over five years.

I have 4 years and a half teaching experience. I'm a DELE certified and my lessons are pretty flexible (I focus in your level and goals and according to that we start studying for reaching it)

I have had 5 lessons with Mariale so far. I wanted lessons that will focus on talking about daily life. I did not want to drill grammar structures as I have done it in the past and it has only slowed down my progress. I can honestly say that Mariale has met my expectations and what’s more she listens when you talk instead of trying to talk over you, which is very important to me. Mariale corrects my mistakes and gives me homework to work on between lessons. This helps me to boost my vocabulary and at the same time i discover new conjugations and tenses at my own pace. I do highly recommend if you want to focus on talking which I assume is the main goal of everyone focusing on learning a language.

Mariale is an really good tutor. She has a great personality. She is humorous, sweet, understanding and will to share her feelings abou the topics we discuss. My goal is to move from reading Spanish to speaking. She begins each lesson with a discussion of my week. Definitely expands the vocuabulary and helps me use the correct words and phrases. She then provides some instruction on the weak parts of my speech (thankfully not all of them at once). This is followed by a review of exercises assigned the previous week and new homework. She prepares each lesson based on past performance. The greatest praise I can give? My wife has complemented me on my progress. Speaking for all husbands, that is a moment to be treasured.

Mariale is an amazing tutor - she is patient, skilled, knowledgeable and is always very prepared for her classes. My husband and I are both learning Spanish together but we have different strength and weaknesses which makes it a bit challenging to teach the classes. But Mariale is always very prepared for each of the class and have skillfully worked with us together to make sure that both of us can practice and work on the right areas. Moreover, her classes are always dynamic and fun filled and we looked forward to every session with her. She's warm, sweet and fun loving and have become a good friend over time. We cannot recommend Mariale more!

I have booked 10 hours with Mariale already. I am trying to get a little more fluent in my Spanish for the german bachillerato (Abitur). At the start of every hour she tries to tickle the sentences out of me. At first I was very nervous but now I like talking to her and look forward to every hour. She is very laid back, patient and always smiling. I also learn interesting things about her own culture or costums of south american countries. My lessons are a mix of talking and grammar exercises. As much as I hope to pass my exam in three weeks I will miss my classes with Mariale.

Mariale has been fantastic to learn with!! Especially for beginners. The lessons are fun and interesting, and the conversation always flows easily because she keeps it to vocabulary you have covered and picks up on new translations when needed. Before you know it you're picking up vocab and conversational bits without thinking about it. She judges the pace well, slowing down and repeating topics when they're challenging to help you cover them properly. She also helps to come up with good practice options for outside of the lesson (including suitable homework, good app recommendations, etc.). I've tried to learn Spanish 4 times before and failed completely. In the last few months I've accelerated much faster than I ever have before!

I just had my 20th lesson with Mariale and am excited to have more! Since I am working a lot I wanted to have fun learning Spanish. Because of her really positive, motivating personality I am enjoying the lessons and I am always looking forward to every lesson. I always go out of every lesson highly motivated and with a big smile! Also I feel like I have improved a lot over the last half year.
