About me

I am a native Czech speaker, I have been teaching English to individuals and small groups of children, teenagers and adults on site and online. An owner of International House Certificate in Teaching Young Learners (IH CYLT).

I also have been teaching Czech to foreigners and have gained some experience what different students, coming from different environments, need.

I always try to make my lessons the most individualized possible to meet the preferences and needs of all of my students.

I know that learning a new language is to a great extent about motivation, support and positive approach which is something I always try my students to provide with.

I love teaching languages and there is no better reward than to see my students grow more and more sure in using the new language.

I have overall about 8 years of teaching experience. I am a holder of International House Certificate in Teaching Young Learners (IH CYLT), Teaching English Online by Cambridge University Press & Assessment. I have been teaching Czech to all different students over the 2 years. I believe in an individual approach. I usually use my own interactive materials which I like to adjust to the students needs.

I take czech lessons with Karolína already for a long time and over the time, I could realize a huge improvment in my language skills thanks to her. She is always very well prepared. Her lessons are very organized and structured, with a great teaching methodolgy. She lets me choose the topics of the lessons, so we are always working on something that interests me. I am very happy that I found such an amazing czech teacher with Karolína. I can recommend everyone, who wants to learn czech, to choose Karolína as their teacher.

Ms. Karolína is very responsible and friendly. It is easy to talk to her because I am not afraid to make mistakes – she always corrects me when I say something wrong, and explains everything to me very well and understandably. Lessons with her are always pleasant and take place with a smile on her face. I can only recommend her!

The best Czech teacher out there! Karolina is fun and teaches in a very approachable manner. We discussed literature and movies. I have learned a great amount of Czech authors and film makers. A truly marvelous learning experience.
